Mae Catherine Walker was born May 28, 1960 in Dothan, Alabama to Willie C. Faulk and Zona B. Walker Faulk. She accepted Christ at an early age and grew up attending Rising Star Baptist Church in Grapeland, Texas. Her schooling was from Grapeland Independent School District.
After school Mae moved to Houston, Texas, in 1980 and worked as a Certified Nurses Aid (CNA), at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Mae enjoyed gambling, going to trail rides, the club, bingo and doing things to surround herself with the company of her family and friends. Mae enjoyed having fun and living her best life!
Mae moved back to Grapeland around 2016, where she continued her life surrounded by lots of family love, and good times.
Mae entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Monique Plummer, father, Willie C. Faulk; brothers, John L. Faulk and Willie Howard Faulk; grandparents, Arnold L. Walker (Buddy) and Catherine Walker (Big Mama), Dank Faulk and Cordiell Faulk (maw); niece, Latonia M. Faulk; and great nephew, Tyress D. Anderson.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Willie Frank Walker;; son, Mitchell Walker; daughter, Tilisa Faulk; mother, Zona B. Pouncey (Raymond); brothers, Willie E. Faulk (Tonia)), James A. Faulk (Brenda), Charles L. Faulk, Henry L. Faulk (Shundon), and William E. Faulk (Fran); sisters, Bobbie J. Bryd (Jesse Walker) and Dorothy J. Willis (Quincy); god daughter Rovina Coleman; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Family I send my Condolences. I was so sorry to hear of May Catherine's funeral, so sorry I wasn't able to make it,I didn't know until after the event had happened and her funeral was over may her soul rest in peace. I'll always cherish the memories of our friendship in Houston .❤️

Aunt Mae as my kids call you, thank you for watching over my daughters while you were here, I know you will continue to do the same. Armanii cried so hard while telling me, "mama I would always give her a hug and kiss on the cheek and she would say you just don't know that means so much to me." Thank you and may you rest in eternal peace.
