ARTHUR DONETTE DANCER was the 6th child out of seven born October 16, 1961, to Betty Rose Butler and Billie Dancer in Houston, Texas. In total Arthur has eight sisters, ten brothers. Arthur was raised in Houston and Grapeland and enjoyed playing football and basketball.
Arthur was a member of House of Prayer in Grapeland, Texas where he proudly served as a of usher.
Arthur was a very noble, caring, and hardworking man. He loved his family and friends dearly. He was employed with Vulcraft for eight years, Kings Inn-Maintenance for five years, and Eagle Railcart in Elkhart Texas for four years.
In his downtime he enjoyed spending time with family and friends; traveling and watching sports.
Arthur is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Rose Butler; brothers, Claude Dancer, Johnny-Boy, Lee-Thomas, Corey and Iris Dancer.
Left to continue his legacy is his seven children (oldest to youngest): Arthur Harris, Jr., Taju Forward, Chambrell Harris, Cordarius Johnson, Francheskia Lewis, Passionate Dancer, Malcolm Prince; his brothers, Charles Dancer, Thomas Dancer, Billie Davis, Artist Hicks, William Dancer, Ronnie Ross, Michael Dancer; his sisters, Jean Dancer, Ethel Thomas, Deborah Agou, Clydie Dancer, Alice Dance, Arnett Dancer Hawkins, Karol Ross; (32) grandchildren; (4) great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
