Amanda Bailey was born on April 11, 1961 in Rockwall, Texas, and passed away peacefully in her home on March 19, 2025.
Amanda devoted and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and fur baby. Playing Bingo was one of her favorite things to do regardless of who or where; she always got excited if anyone mentioned “BINGO.” When hanging out around her house, Amanda enjoyed shopping online. However, the biggest excitement was on package day when she not only saw the package with her name on it but got to open it; half the time, she forgot what she had ordered. Amanda was strong in her Faith as a Child of God and chose to be non-denominational/Baptist! Visiting her church family in Dallas and going to church camp meetings brought her great joy. She was an avid collector of Native American memorabilia honoring her Indian Heritage.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elsie Moore and James Ray Watson, 1st born son Billy Jack (BJ) Ridgle, her husband James Bailey, brother James Watson, and grandson Jemeni Grant.
She is survived by Children: Samantha Chance (Michael), Jamie Hallmark, and Stephen Hallmark. Grandchildren: Matthew (Kali), Jestine, Tommy Jr., Micheal (Alexis), Samuel “BJ”, Taylor, Jayden, Raven, Shon, Bryar, Korbin, Luken, and Harley. Her Siblings: Liz, Tammy, and Carl. Special: Aunt Sue Lemons. Many more loved ones including her Hallmark family.
